Mr Chua's just put us through another round of standing broad jumps, and I'm aching all over again. It was worse last week though. At least I still can conquer the stairs without looking like an idiot this time. Hahas. This week's been tiring too, even though we only effectively started on Wednesday. I initially thought it'd be ok, since it's only 3 days. This just shows how wrong I can get. PE, coupled with the fatigue of everyday school life after the Chinese New Year holidays, in addition to the exhaustion and pressure of trying to stay awake in lectures today can really bring one down. I'm usually able to stay bright and awake during lectures and tutorials, but today's Biology lecture was really the epitome of boring. The pace was really slow, and I think I was just tired, but it seemed as if the lecturer kept repeating the same point over and over in the same tone of voice. It seems like I'm on the verge of falling sick yet again. Sore throat, runny nose, dehydration setting in though I'm drinking a lot of water, and all the mucous lining my mucous membranes along the throat and all seem to have disappeared. It's exasperating. Can't I just really fall sick for a day and get it over with? I keep trying to ward the damn thing off by drinking water and sleeping and it's not working. Time's been speeding up recently, and I don't know if I'm supposed to be scared or not. On one hand, this year seems like it's going to be passing by real fast. On the other, that means A Levels' are coming. We've been talking about our Project Work results and all (funny how no one seems to be that worried about Chinese), and sometimes my heart just starts racing and I get really worried, though it's already a toned-down version of my panic before receiving my O Levels' results. I'm really not looking forward to that. Just as a side note, the next book I get will be the Rape of Nanking. I don't know why, but it just stuck with me. I'm looking forward to getting it, whenever that will be.
